Arsenal's pursuit of attacking reinforcements has reportedly led them to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, with the Premier League frontrunners exploring the possibility of prising the Georgian winger away from Arsenal Premier League Paris Saint-Germain.

The 25-year-old's journey to the French capital began in January last year when PSG secured his signature from Napoli for €70 million (£59m). His adaptation proved seamless, playing a pivotal role in the club's treble-winning campaign that delivered both domestic silverware and Champions League glory.

This season has seen the Georgia international maintain his upward trajectory, contributing 12 goals and seven assists as PSG chase consecutive Ligue 1 and Champions League crowns.

According to The Independent, the Gunners are actively exploring a potential transfer, identifying Kvaratskhelia as a player capable of injecting the 'individual creativity' their attacking setup currently lacks.

Sources suggest that Kvaratskhelia's representatives remain receptive to evaluating opportunities at the Emirates, indicating a willingness to entertain discussions should Arsenal formalize their interest this summer.

However, PSG's stance presents a significant obstacle. The Parisian club considers the winger, who remains under contract until 2029, as a 'near-unsellable' asset in their squad.

Recent comments from Kvaratskhelia himself underscore his contentment in the French capital, potentially complicating any transfer approach.

'For me, Paris is truly extraordinary,' Kvaratskhelia revealed to Le Parisien earlier this month.

'Everything you could want is here, and most importantly, this is the city of love. My wife was overjoyed when PSG made their approach.

'She had always told me, 'Imagine if we could play for PSG one day—living there would be incredible.'

'Initially, I questioned whether it was realistic, especially with world-class talents like [Lionel] Messi, Neymar and [Kylian] Mbappe already there. I genuinely love everything about Paris. The more time I spend here, the more I value how welcoming and respectful everyone has been.'
